Outfits of the Day & Cray Cray

This is how we dress for Thanksgiving....
*Read this as if you are a correspondent/host on E!...
Alani is all decked out in her Christmas dress from Gwen Stefani's Mini Harajuku line at Target. (yeah, I know it's not Christmas, but why just wear a dress on Christmas when it's so cute!)..She also has on her plaid Mini Harajuku jacket. Black legging from Target...and her fav, Flex Elizabeth PediPed patent leather and suede boots with the satin bow laces,

 Blaker, who holds still for about .001 seconds, is wearing his new Mini Harajuku shirt (I told you we went crazy when we saw this line!), Denizen jeans (they are the "cool guy jeans" line for boys at Target), studded belt we bought at the Melrose Trading Post, "tent of $5 belts and sunglasses", and the turquoise VANS he picked out.

 Blakey took these blurry "outfit" of the day of baby...the other ones are so blurry you can't tell what she is. ha ha ha

 As you can't tell in the picture, she is wearing a pink and white striped romper suit, with a hood from Old Navy, other other favorite place for little clothes. And the holiday mary jane socks, from Trumpette's line at Target.

 This is what Jordan and my grampa wore....ha ha ha ha. Look how tall Jordan is...I think he grows by the minute. I think he just measured at 6 feet tall and growing.

My favorite....we spent Thanksgiving at my gramma's. No matter how old you are, you feel like a little kid at gramma's. All the troubles of the world melt away, and I just felt safe, cozy, and like the world is ok. And we had 3 different pies and desserts!

Then we went to the movies, I wanted to see the Muppets, but the kids wanted to see Arthur Christmas. So we saw Arthur Christmas, which was really cute, and pretty funny- the brother with the Christmas Tree goatee and the crazy grampa Santa was my favorite.
*THEN...as we drove home, I wondered if people would be camping out for the crazy Black Friday sales that go on here in the US, where things are like 99% off! ha ha ha

There were hundred of people camping outside of Best Buy...you'd think they were giving out $500 in cash with every $200 tv! ha ha

And as I posted on facebook...it doesn't pay to save $200, but have a $400 bill from your broken arm you got fighting people off at the sales. Did you hear of that lady that was spraying other shoppers with pepper spray at Wal-Mart, so they wouldn't beat her to the sales stuff!? CRAY CRAY!!!

They should call it GREEN friday...because all the green they make! ha ha ha

We heart Harajuku (and Gwen Stefani & Target)

(Blakey's Harajuki slip-ons)

We went to Target the other day and I had no idea that Gwen Stefani was collabing with Target to do a kids and babies collection of the cutest clothes!

 (Baby, riding cozy in her Buggy Bag at Target...it turns any shopping cart into a cozy lazy-boy like chair! ha ha As you can see, the kids always make a first stop at the dollar section at Target...they might as well just place the toys as soon as you walk in- it stops us everytime!)
*I love Gwen Stefani- I've loved her style since I was in high school.
*I love Target- and the fact that the do cool, lines like this with other stylish peeps or brands. I never even saw the Missoni collection, except for a few weird clearance things like a scratchy baby sweater dress and some rainboots on clearance.
*I wish all this was in bigger sizes than just baby and kids!

Take a peek and the Mini Harajuku stuff- and I read how it was a mix of all the styles that Gwen has loved and rocked over her whole career...and not to sound like a broken record, but I loved everything!

 These onesie said it needed a home, and we took it with, us wore it yesterday, and got compliments everywhere we went! Can you see the little knee high socks in the background? So cutey.

 The little plaid, punk pants were so cute I bought a pair for Alani, Blake AND the baby! They can look like very different sized triplettes!

 Blakey in his Harajuku shoes, H & M pants (they have the cheapest kids clothes- like $3.95 for a shirt!) and a new sweater we got at Target...it's just there Target brand.

When I picked Alani up from school, she told me again, how much she loved her new outfit. I got her the plaid punk pants, with the little pleated flap on the back (my favorite part, I wish they made these in my size. Her striped shirt with the bows and tuxedo ruffles on the front, and the mini motorcycle jacket is so cute. Style of Gwen Stefani, prices of Target....awesome combo!

You can dress like a rockstar on a non-rockstar bank account!

PS. I have no idea how long this line will be at Target...all I can say is there's NO DOUBT, you better WIND IT UP and make a SWEET ESCAPE to Target before all that's left is SPIDERWEBS....ha ha ha

Our Sunday Best

 This is Blake is his most dapper of duds, coolest shoes, and must have hat...after church, after hot chocolate, after our lunch, but we ordered breakfast food, after a drive to gramma's...

incase you love these and want to buy: Hat- I can't remember where we got it actually, shirt and tie came together from Old Navy, Jeans are Levi's, and shoes -Old Navy again!

 and goodbye- he's outta here.

 Alani and I, and her great grama who bought this dress are all in love with the 1940's. Me and Alani got her a little vintage 40's dress for super cheap at an antique store a few weeks ago, she loved it, wore it to school and reported that FIVE people told her they liked her dress that day.

 Alani and her new 40's dress that my Nana (her grand-nana) found for her and sent to us yesterday! We love it Nana! We would have paired this with saddle shoes, but we don't own any. Alani loves her PediPed patent leather Elizabeth boots!

what better way to spend the Sunday than swinging on a white fence and twirling in the grass or in Blaker's case...running as fast as you can all over the place.

Back-to-School Night & a VLOG video

 yes...Back-to-School night..you did see us tomorrow..which is now yesterday...

Alani in one of her fav outifts...hello kitty shirt and skirt with what we like to call "strawberry shortcake leggings"....if you know Strawberry Shortcake you know why.

Blakey's take on back-to-school night:
didn't really like the classroom part
wanted to go see the paper eagle in the entry way
wanted to keep going and getting cookies and lemonade from the cafeteria
like the book fair part....he got to pick out a book too: Star Wars Lego Sticker book
Alani got a princess cupcake cookbook & a Barbie Fashion story book and a giant "pointing-finger" pen

We went and got chinese food for dinner...the first time I managed all the kids and baby by myself at dinner...a man just looked at me as he walked out and said, "wow, you've got your hands full".....
"yes, yes sir-ree-bob, I do...ha ha ha ha

After I got everyone in jammies, brushed teeth, tucked people in bed, cuddled and loved everyone, nursed baby...edited a video, typed my blogs...yes it's now 3am and I'm typing this...don't tell my mom, she just told me about a young guy that had a stroke and said I need more sleep. I agree, but if I sleep I get nothing done in the day with all the kids....I have to burn the midnight oil... that whole "sleep when the baby sleeps things" doesn't work...if I did that I would never write blogs, edit videos, read any email, or get anything done...laundry...you get the idea.

a day in the life...

 breakfast looked like this: Sambazon Frozen Acai, Cascadian Farms Frozen Blueberries, Coconut Milk, Ground Flax, "Dino" or Lacinto Kale (is soooo good for you)

 I don't have a blender, so I "food process" it into a smoothie- and it's fun because 9 out of 10 times...it sprays me and the whole kitchen with a liquidy mess...it's more exciting that way.

our finished "Super Food Smoothie"...is loved by all...even my most picky eaters.

man do I love this little cowboy's "smoothie- stache"....he cracked up when he saw this picture!

 yesterday we went to Target to get Alani a new backpack and lunch box, well now they are really like "cooler bags"...as you can see by my picture....I was rooting for the Hello Kitty ones...however my little lady was not sharing my HK love....she was debating between Tinkerbell and the owl...
THE SCORE: Owl- 1      Tinkerbell-0  (ok but she did get a Tinkerbell backpack and Barbie Thermos...I know we're all over the place...Tinkerbell, Barbie, owls!

 Alani's back to school outfit: shirt & leggings (they were $4.50!- i love F21): Forever 21 girl, her new back to school boots: Pediped Flex boots in Elizabeth-

she loves these and I kinda' wish they were in my size too!

Alani, as I tried to take a picture this morning...and she just put her hands over her eyes and said, "the sun is in my eyes!" (even though she was sort of in the shade)...

oh this lil' apple-dumplin' face just melts me every day....

and then between thought 2,398,365 and thought 2,398,366...I thought about changing my hair....maybe to this: I was 16 and had colored my hair with 2 blonde strips in the front of my face (I was so on trend for Fall 2011 with my denim back in the 90's, ha ha ha)

and then my in-house photographer, Blakey...took a break from playing a game on my phone, to take a picture of me...well he took tons...but this was the most in-focus one...so we chose this one...but my favorite part of our "photo-shoot" was he told me: "you yook beautiful"...
even though I'm sick and feel yucky, and my head felt like is was pounding everywhere....
my little man thought I "yooked" beautiful...
my heart felt more beautiful than all the world...my little sweet heart...

we had tacos for dinner...
I can't breathe out of my right nostril...
and dear Charmin toilet paper....you may claim to be the softest...but my nose would disagree, sincerely sore, kandee's nose

Poor choices I made today:
*not taking the roll of toilet paper out of the sink when I dropped it trying to get some to blow my nose but heard the baby wake up and ran to get her-
Blakey washed his hands without taking the toilet paper out

*Believing Blakey when he said, "Let me polish your nails, I know how. Nana, taught me."-
I ended up trying to clean orange nail polish off the couch, some of it's still there.

Best choices I made today:
dropping the toilet paper to run and get baby (toilet paper doesn't mean anything to anyone)

Letting Blakey try to polish my nails-
I will always look at the polish on the couch and think of how precious my little man was, that wanted to polish my nails

Letting Blakey ride his tricyle down the path that looked steeper than it was...at first I thought he'd never be able to peddle back up...but then he said, "see you ride up hills back and forth like a snake"...and he peddled all the way up...

tired eyes and stuffy noses...but hearts full of perfect love...your kandee
